Driving on ice in -40 degrees C!

"Driving on Ice 66,5°N aus Schweden! Das schnellste Fahrsicherheitszentrum der Welt" mit Audi R8 und Audi RS6".

The fastest safety training centre for drivers in the world is now located outside Arvidsjaur! We are talking about the company Driving on Ice 6,5°N. They drive with Audi RS6 and R8, which means over 700 hp sending you from 0 to 100 km/h in a cloud of snow in only 3,7 seconds! Many people would probably pay just to sit behind the wheel, hearing the mighty purr of the powerful engine...

The people behind this enterprise are a handful of experienced businessmen within international motor sports who decided to work together and start this company.

-We thought that the cooperation between development, competition, test and events in the "motor area" and the media work in combination with our international contacts were a good starting point for "Driving on Ice" says Heiko Müller, one of eight part owners of the company.

-With 10-12 Audi R8 and Audi RS6 (450-710 hp), we offer not only an unforgettable driving experience but also training in handling emergencies in daily traffic quickly and effectively. We are proud to say we offer the fastest driving on ice in the world.

Part owner and technical genius Nico Gommen is one of few people with Audi's blessing in building tuned engines on his vehicles. In Arvidsjaur, he (Driving on Ice) will also test new navigation equipment for Audi, which will probably be on the market in a year or two.

Anyone can book time at the driving centre. Different police forces from all over the world will come to Arvidsjaur:
-We are expecting security police from Serbia. They have booked accommodation with us and driving experiences on the ice in Myrkulla. They will probably become better at chasing bad guys, says Kristoffer Lundström, MD Hotel Laponia.

If you want to go from Germany, the price tag is 30.000 SEK for a three days of driving experiences. This includes a stable of especially tuned Audi RS6's and R8's, flights, accommodation and food at Hotel Laponia, transfers and driving experiences with world renowned racers as instructors.
