-I always try to tell a story with my pictures, says photographer Dirk Schwarz. The world is his workplace.

The pictures below are samples of his work. But even if Dirk is taking pictures of a winery in South Africa one week and a Bond film premiere the next, there are two places he is always longing for:
-My hometown, Köln, and Arvidsjaur! I don't think you understand what a gem your municipality is, says Dirk, who after bringing German TV-teams here for six years in a row finally bought his own cottage by the Arvidsjaur lake.
